Who you are dealing with.

Plate is made and operated by Ohad Krispin. Support: ohadkrispin@gmail.com. Purchases are processed by Polar as the merchant of record, so Polar's buyer terms also apply to the transaction itself.

What Plate is.

Plate is an installable toolkit and MCP server for the coding agent you already use. Your agent supplies the model access and credits, performs the implementation and modifies code on your computer. Plate provides briefs, catalogues, kits, capture, inspection and, with Pro, design systems, complete implementations and Studio. Plate is not a hosted generator, does not include model credits, and does not promise a particular design result.

Starter: the open-source toolkit.

The public Plate toolkit is released under the MIT licence, which is published with the source on GitHub. It needs no account and no payment. Kit assets keep their own licences, including CC0 dedications and font licences, recorded next to the files.

Plate Pro v1 licence.

Plate Pro v1 is a separate commercial licence: one payment of $89, v1 updates, and use in your own and your clients' projects. It is a software licence, not a subscription and not model credits; your agent supplies those. Your licence key is issued by Polar and validated with Polar. Keep it private.

Example and kit assets keep their own licences, which ship alongside the files and are copied into any project you create. Keep those notices in place when you redistribute the result. Some example material is licensed for local use only and is not part of the published library. The same statements appear in the documentation.

Accounts and Studio.

Studio signs you in with Google. You are responsible for the Google account you use and for keeping your session private. Plate pairs your account once with a Polar customer record, from your purchase or from an exact verified-email match, and Pro features in Studio depend on that record holding an active Plate licence. If a record cannot be matched to your account automatically, Studio asks you to contact support instead of charging you. The cloud service currently allows 50 saved briefs per licence, 12,000 characters each and 120 requests per hour. Local Studio records are stored on your computer and are separate from cloud briefs; nothing on your computer is uploaded automatically.

You keep all rights to your briefs, your code and your projects. Do not use the service to store unlawful content, to probe or overload Plate's servers, or to circumvent licence checks.

Purchases and refunds.

Payment is taken by Polar at checkout, and your receipt and customer portal come from Polar. If you believe a purchase was made in error or the product did not work as described, contact ohadkrispin@gmail.com with your order details. Refund requests are handled case by case through Polar. Polar's buyer terms and the law where you live also apply; nothing here limits rights you have under them.

Showing your work.

Community submissions are open to Starter and Pro users signed in with Google. Submit only projects, images and creator details you have permission to share. You keep ownership of your work. By submitting, you allow Plate to display the supplied public details and cover in its gallery after review. Submission does not guarantee publication.

Plate reviews submissions before publication. Do not submit impersonation, private information, unlawful content or harmful links. The current limit is three submissions in 24 hours and ten awaiting review per account. You can withdraw your submission in Studio; it then stops appearing in the gallery. Sharing to X is a separate action that you complete on X, and withdrawing from Plate does not delete an X post. See the community privacy details for the fields made public and retained privately.

Availability and changes.

The online library, saved briefs, community gallery, licence validation and Studio sign-in need an internet connection and depend on the providers listed on the privacy page. These terms may be updated, with the date at the top changed.
