# Plate > Complete website source packages and editing guidance for builders using Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. Canonical website: https://getplate.pages.dev/ Plate is useful when a builder wants to adapt an existing complete website rather than assemble a page from individual components. The library provides live previews, project requirements, editing guidance and available source packages. The user's coding agent makes the changes in their own project. ## Start here - [Website source with a coding agent](https://getplate.pages.dev/ai-website-templates.html): choosing a project, free downloads, a working prompt, setup and limitations. - [Project library](https://getplate.pages.dev/library.html): current availability, Free/Pro labels, previews and project-specific prompts. - [Public catalogue](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects.json): current project versions, requirements, package locations and availability. An item labelled preview-only is not a downloadable source package. - [Project pages](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/): one plain-HTML page per website and game, with what it is, Free or Pro, what you receive, what you can change, limits, requirements, credits, the archive's SHA-256 and the exact agent instructions. Listed under Projects below. - [Full facts in one file](https://getplate.pages.dev/llms-full.txt): every project page's content as Markdown. Library links such as `library.html?project=` are drawn by JavaScript, so a plain fetch of one returns the library shell without that project's details. Use `projects//` or the catalogue record with that `id` instead. - [Documentation](https://getplate.pages.dev/download.html): optional local toolkit installation, MCP connection and support. - [Plate Starter](https://github.com/ohad6k/plate): public free toolkit source; its contents differ from the Pro collection. - [About the examples](https://getplate.pages.dev/evidence.html): evidence and limits of the demonstrations. ## First use Choose a project in the library, inspect the preview, download its available source, and extract into a new folder. Open the folder in the coding agent and use the project's setup prompt. Read its README, editing guide and licence; run its own documented preview command after making changes. Free website ZIPs do not require the optional local MCP toolkit. The optional toolkit requires Python 3.11+. Install from the linked documentation, run `python -m plate_toolkit doctor`, then `python -m plate_toolkit config claude`, `python -m plate_toolkit config codex` or `python -m plate_toolkit config cursor`. Configuration commands print snippets to merge into existing client configuration. No package-index install command is assumed for Plate. ## Pricing and boundaries Selected website source downloads are free with a Google sign-in, no card. Plate Pro v1 is US$49.50 once at the launch price (regularly US$89), with no subscription, for the released current v1 Pro collection and its included updates. Check the current offer and final checkout total; tax depends on location. Model credits, the coding agent and hosting are separate. - [Current offer](https://getplate.pages.dev/#pricing) - [Licence terms](https://getplate.pages.dev/terms.html) - [Privacy](https://getplate.pages.dev/privacy.html) Plate is not a hosting service, an autonomous guarantee of design quality, or a custom website service. Project requirements differ. Example forms may need a real backend. Personal and client use is subject to the licence; reselling source as template packs or a competing library is not permitted. Keep included asset notices. Never put a Pro licence key in an agent conversation. This summary documents the product; it does not establish independent reviews, recommendation rankings or measured outcomes. ## Projects Each project has a plain-HTML page with its full facts and the exact agent instructions. All of them: https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/ . Everything in one file: https://getplate.pages.dev/llms-full.txt . - [Meniscus](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/meniscus/): Plate Pro. Complete single-page website. A fragrance house whose whole page sits under a live fluid. - [Tide](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/tide/): Plate Pro. Complete single-page website. A product site for an invented bedside sleep-sound orb that runs from dusk to dawn as you scroll. - [Perihelion](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/perihelion/): Plate Pro. Complete single-page website. A planetarium studio site that is one live-rendered flight: scroll moves a probe along an authored path through a ringed gas giant, a terminator crossing, a nebula volume and a lensed black-hole disc, drawn by one WebGL2 shader. - [Meridian](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/meridian/): Plate Pro. Complete single-page website. An expedition outfitter's site told as a 48-second film that scrolling advances: four Poly Haven worlds sampled live by a raw-WebGL camera, whip pans and blink cuts between chapters, two shots per crossing, film slates with the facts, a route drawn across every world and completed as a map. - [Murmur](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/murmur/): Plate Pro. Complete single-page website. A voice-and-hearing research lab whose site is a murmuration: 409,600 WebGL2 points form the wordmark, a synthesised voice, its spectrogram, an ear and the lab's mark across four scroll chapters. - [The Observatory](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/observatory/): Plate Pro. Complete single-page website. An atmospheric-data studio's website that is one authored night: scrolling advances an hour from 18:36 to 06:00, driving a live WebGL2 shader sky, three instrument panels and a case study, all read from one keyframed model. - [The Gazette](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/gazette/): Plate Pro. Complete single-page website. A fictional weekly culture paper's website, played as a single issue: a sticky cover slides beneath a pushing contents spread, a pinned feature turns like a real four-page fold, and the back cover is the issue's own ending. - [Riot Grain](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/riot-grain/): Plate Pro. Complete single-page website. A record label's release site drawn entirely by code: canvas letter bodies fall and settle under a hand-written Verlet physics solver, a pointer shove scatters and resettles them, and the tracklist, marquee, countdown and pre-order locker are all assembled from the same content file. - [Patchbay](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/patchbay/): Plate Pro. Complete single-page website. A desktop synthesiser's front panel, rebuilt as a website: two oscillators, a filter, an envelope and a delay run on the Web Audio API behind a real 17-key playable keyboard, with an owner's manual and an engraved serial plate. - [Atelier Rook](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/atelier-rook/): Free. Complete single-page website. A small architecture studio's site drawn as its own seven-sheet drawing set: a fixed board of three layers (site plan, section, structure/light study over it, floor plan) redraws itself as you scroll, ending on the practice and a contact sheet with a mailto and a downloadable issue register. - [Hollow Lane Nursery](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/hollow-lane/): Free. Complete single-page website. A plant nursery's single-page site built around one canvas-drawn campion that grows through six stages as you scroll, alongside three sales benches of fifteen authored plant drawings, a sketch map and an order list you fill from the benches and take as a mailto or a .txt download. - [Daybay](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/daybay/): Free. Playable browser game ยท keyboard and mouse. A body-camera firefight in a sunlit concrete bay. - [Lookout](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/lookout/): Free. Complete single-page website. A one-room stay above a dam whose page scrolls through a real day: seven registered photographs of one hill, crossfaded as the camera turns to follow the sun. - [Sillage](https://getplate.pages.dev/projects/sillage/): Free. Complete single-screen website. A fragrance site with no scroll: one fixed frame, a photographed bottle you press, and live air over the top of it.
