Halden · Piece 01
The Ear thrown wide, pulled thin.
Opened wide at the shoulder and pulled to a lip you can feel with a fingertip. The one that holds a single branch.
The glaze the pieces were fired in. Satin, close to white, with the throwing rings showing through it.

The four
One clay, one glaze, four ways to hold it.
Three of the four are thrown on the same wheel from the same white stoneware; the Slab is built from cut sheets of it. All of them are fired in the same kiln. What changes is the hand: where it opened the form, where it pulled, where it stopped. Nothing here is illustrated — each piece is a scan of the real one, lit and turned in your browser as you look at it.
